Terms of Service

Last updated: July 12, 2026

By using Video to Audio, you agree to these terms.

Service scope

The site provides a browser-based utility that attempts to extract or transcode the first audio stream from a supported local video. Version one supports one file at a time, a 300 MB input limit, MP3, WAV, M4A, Original MKA output, and simple start/end trimming.

Format names describe intended containers, not a guarantee that every codec combination, damaged file, browser, or device can be processed. Browser WebAssembly is slower and more memory constrained than native desktop FFmpeg.

Your files and responsibilities

You keep ownership of your files. You are responsible for having the rights and permission to process the media and for complying with copyright, privacy, confidentiality, employment, and other applicable obligations.

Do not use the site to evade access controls, infringe rights, or process media in a way that is unlawful where you live.

No warranty

The service is provided “as is” without a guarantee of availability, conversion accuracy, exact trim boundaries, codec support, output quality, or fitness for a particular purpose. Original stream-copy trims may follow source packet boundaries. Always verify the downloaded audio and preserve important source files.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the site and its maintainer are not liable for lost files, corrupted output, missed deadlines, device performance, incompatible playback, or indirect damages arising from use of the service.

Changes

The tool, supported formats, limits, and these terms may change. The updated date identifies the current version.
